About Black Boys Rise
Black Boys Rise was founded on the realization that many young Black males lack the support systems, mentorship, and encouragement needed to reach their full potential. Our mission is to Lead, Empower, and Inspire Black boys who may have been told—directly or indirectly—that they don’t matter. We believe every Black boy is created in the image of God, has inherent worth, and deserves the opportunity to dream, grow, lead, and thrive.
Through mentorship, leadership development, educational enrichment, life-skills training, and community engagement, we help young men discover their God-given value and purpose. We believe that a boy’s current circumstances should never determine the size of his future. When Black boys rise, families rise. Communities rise. And ultimately, we all rise.

Comprehensive programs that develop academic excellence, critical thinking, and practical life skills to prepare students for success in all areas of life, from the classroom to the workplace.
Community Engagement & Opportunity Programs
Creating pathways for community involvement and real-world opportunities that help young men discover their purpose, build meaningful connections, and contribute positively to their communities.
